We are BCR Communities (formerly Bay and Basin Community Resources), a dedicated local organisation committed to supporting our community. Founded over 30 years ago by passionate residents, we have been bridging gaps in services for youth, seniors, and people with disabilities in the Bay and Basin and Illawarra region. Through our community centre, aged care services, Respite for Carers program, and local radio station, we provide person-centred support and create inclusive, welcoming spaces for all. Our mission is to foster healthy, happy, and meaningful lives by connecting individuals, empowering families, and building a strong, supportive community.
The Role
We are seeking multiple casual Skilled Care Workers to join our Home Care team, working within the Illawarra. This role involves providing essential direct care to consumers, ensuring they maintain their independence while receiving high-quality support with their personal care, household tasks, and more. You will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals, empowering individuals to live enriched, purposeful lives within their own homes and the broader community.

Requirements
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or
- Individual Support (Aged Care).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and encourage independence.
- National Police Check (issued with the last 3 months)
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate, comprehensive car insurance, and a valid driver’s licence.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team and support volunteers when required.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to care and service delivery.
