EDUCATIONAL LEADER/ ECT JOB

NewDay Kids Early Learning Centre

As an Educational Leader you must be passionate about creating great learning experiences for children, families, the team and local community.  You are keen to grow your own skills and talents to really make a difference.

Your role will be to assist with ensuring the Centre provides the highest quality care and education for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years, build strong relationships with families and be a role model of best practice to our team of dedicated Educators.

As an Educational Leader:

Experience as an Educational Leader is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
Recognised Early Childhood Qualification (Bachelor of Teaching/Education)
Passion for Early Childhood Education and Care
Skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs
A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
Strong understanding of childcare compliance
Current First Aid and CPR Training
Child Protection Certificate
Hold a current Working with Children Check
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
About you:

A Bachelor of Education/Teaching in Early Childhood
Highly organised with the ability to multi-task
Have a high level working knowledge of EYLF, NQS and QIP
Ability to ‘think on your feet’ to adapt and deliver strategies within the Centre to support staff and families
Passion for early childhood education
Skills to lead and mentor other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs
Strong customer relationships
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and CPR Certificates
Child Protection Certificate
Hold a current Working with Children Check
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
